In early January we said thank you to Kieron and team as they finished building the external walls and left site. The building is really taking shape now!
Also, a big well done to John for keeping such a safe & tidy site; there has been some criticism on Facebook about the untidy state of the Copse building site, contrasting it with the tidy Church Site! A great witness!
With the brick and blockwork completed, we now await the arrival of the windows and external doors. They are being manufactured at the moment, and are due to be installed in just a couple of weeks!
In the meantime, the wet weather has driven the team indoors to create the upstairs rooms from stud-work, and to batten the inside of the block walls.
These will then be plaster-boarded once the building is watertight.
We continue to give thanks for God’s amazing provision!
Graham and Adam have also put out an on-line questionnaire to local residents to capture their thoughts about the new Hope Centre, to which we have had an amazing response; more about that another time…..
