Gjergji & Esther Renja are missionaries working in Albania in the small village of Morave, two hours south of Tirana, the capital. They have 3 daughters – twins Naomi & Tiily aged 11 yrs and Lidia, aged 5 yrs. They live with Gjergji’s parents in a house he built.
Since 2012 DCF have been helping to support them and in May 2012 were able to take out many needed supplies, one of which was a vehicle.
In 2014 The Renja’s converted an old store attached to their home to hold their church meetings and officially registered the ‘Church of Hope’.
In September 2015, a team of seven people from DCF went out for 4 days to offer teaching, worship, prayer & fellowship.
Life in Albania is primitive, the country is still recovering from a communist government; the cities may not reflect this, but you don’t have to travel far into the country to see how much needs doing to help these people. Esther & Gjergji are doing what they can to help their community who have both physical & spiritual needs.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12
