Michael and Nicki Duncalfe are missionaries who work with Mission Aviation Fellowship and are supported by DCF and say –
We have been part of the MAF team in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 1994, and we are continually impressed even after all this time about how essential MAF’s ministry is for missions, national churches and remote communities.
Michael flies the DHC6 Twin Otter aircraft and also has training and management responsibilities. Much of his flying involves training or carrying out routine pilot flight checks. He also has an authorised flight examiner approval from the PNG aviation authority which permits him to carry out flight tests for students from the MAF Aviation Training Centre as well as other organisations.
Nicki has a number of support roles: she runs an initial language and orientation course for new staff, helps with some aspects of IT and allocates housing for international staff in Mount Hagen.
Family-wise, our four sons, Andrew, Richard, Peter and Philip grew up in PNG before leaving for university. All of them are now married, Andrew living in the USA and the others in England. Our home base in the UK is at Blackwater near Camberley, Surrey.
A brilliant support team of people who pray for us and support us financially (many of whom have done so for many years now) have enabled us to be part of this ministry. If you are interested in joining our team in either capacity, we’ll be delighted to have you ‘on board’. We try to keep everybody up to date with a monthly email prayer news and a fuller newsletter three times a year.
